Ordered in 1937 as one of a batch of 30 vehicles by the London Midland & Scottish Railway, Albion M540 BNK758 was fitted with a Gardner 4LW engine, 4-speed gearbox and worm-driven rear axle. Restored over a ten year period by Bill Shaw from Sussex and photographed in 2008. (Alan Barnes)

New to Shell Mex & BP as a tanker it finished with them in 1970 and went to a Glasgow showman. Now with Frank MacDougall, whose grandson Mark supplied the picture.
