1960 Albion Caledonian XYP172, with Alfred Miles cab but minus the distinctive "yawning" mesh grille, and fitted with a Leyland 0.680 engine. New to Shell Mex & BP as a tanker it finished with them in 1970 and went to a Glasgow showman. Now with Frank MacDougall, whose grandson Mark supplied the picture.

Built purely for the Southern Hemisphere is this Albion Cameronian seen in the Sydney suburb of Ryde in August 1991. It's on 8-stud wheels which makes one wonder why Albion didn't just make a 6-wheeler on 10-stud wheels instead! (Jonathan Pye)
