1960 Albion Caledonian XYP172, with Alfred Miles cab but minus the distinctive "yawning" mesh grille, and fitted with a Leyland 0.680 engine. New to Shell Mex & BP as a tanker it finished with them in 1970 and went to a Glasgow showman. Now with Frank MacDougall, whose grandson Mark supplied the picture.

Long abandoned Albion Cairn at Ormesby St Margaret in Norfolk. (Steve Holmes)Previous | NextBuilt purely for the Southern Hemisphere is this Albion Cameronian seen in the Sydney suburb of Ryde in August 1991.
